Racecourse Features and Location
The first recorded race meeting took place at Catterick on 22nd April 1783. It was not until 1906 that a stand was built and in 1923 the first race company was formed. The Racecourse is now a fine blend of both old and new with the framework of the original still in place, but with a great many improvements within including five luxury hospitality suites, which have undergone recent refurbishment.
